When we were at HAC we were required to read several of Dr. Hyles' books.  Some we read more than once.  So what book of Dr. Hyles did you not enjoy?  Perhaps you have more than one.  List all of them.  Of course, one book per post!

I did not enjoy Let's Study the Revelation.  Talk about a book correcting the Bible!

^^^ Ditto.

That's what happens when your main course of Bible study is John R. Rice commentaries.

It was a good day when he (Rice) finally left the scene.

Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel.

It made me furious, but also alerted me to the possibility that there was blasphemy in more of his doctrine than just this.

I agree about the Revelation book. Even back then I thought it was poorly written/edited/published.

"Jack Hyles on Justice" would be better titled "Jack Hyles on Why I Am Not Acountable to Anyone for Anything"

Duty

His time as a soldier never left him with this one & he used that to rally his troops.

As a Christian, I always wondered why the verses "We love Him because He first loved us" or "The love of Christ constraineth us" were not enough to motivate service for Christ.

Of course, this was a famous sermon of Dr. Hyles.  I had forgotten it was put out in booklet form until you posted.
