The LXX was translated from the Hebrew and Aramaic OT about 250 BC into the Greek language, the language of the known world.
The LXX was credited by the KJV translators as being instrumental in preparing the way for Christ's first advent and the rapid spread of the Gospel around the World. Christ and the Apostles used it when reading the OT. Much of it is quoted in the Greek NT.
The LXX is still used today by the Orthodox Churches and is their OT version of choice. That's over 2,250 years of continuous use by God's people.
The second greatest version is the Latin Vulgate. Made by Jerome in about 400 AD. In about 1450 AD Gutenberg produced the first printed Bible using this text.
The Latin Vulgate was the Bible of Western Christianity for over 1,000 years.
Wycliffe used it to make his Bible version.
It was the first modern version as it was printed and mass-produced by mechanical means. About 200 or so were printed. This Bible is still readable today and is one of the most beautiful books ever printed.
I know of no other Bible versions that have been used by the Church more than the LXX and the Latin Vulgate.
