I'll save the neighsayers some time...She's not a Hacker but a proud graduate of Liberty University and she does not use the KJV, so don't disconnect with this b/c my moniker says 16KJV11 and she doesn't use it. ::)
I don't know everything about her and just b/c something she does or says may not line up with what you think I am, don't discount what she says.

From a Christian lady...I thought this blog was very interesting and informative.

The fact that you read women's blogs has an element of creepy about it.  Just sayin'...
I was perusing thru facebook and one of my friends linked to it.
Thought I'd look at it and see where she was coming from.
And BTW, are you saying that a man shouldn't read something that a woman writes?
...That, b/c she's a woman, she doesn't have anything that she can teach me?
Sounds a by misogynistic if you ask me!  ??? :P
BTW, Did you take time to read it?

#1 Myth of Modesty: ‘It’s His Job Not to Look’

It’s true, lust is a sin, and men shouldn’t entertain it.

But the level of their lust is directly related to how much of our bodies is available to lust after. The less we advertise, the less opportunity we give them to covet our bodies....It is not just his job not to look: it is our responsibility to provide nothing provocative to look at.

...which is why all women should wear burkas!

I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. (1 Timothy 2:9-10)

Paul wanted women to dress with ‘decency and propriety… as appropriate for women who profess to worship God.’

This here: it's called completely ignoring the context.

Don’t think I can’t relate with a desire for attention. I am acutely aware that there are certain items I could wear that would draw Mr. M’s attention to my body, and I would be flattered by it. In fact, I would relish the attention and be affirmed that he found me desirable.

There is nothing in the world wrong with a woman desiring that Mr. ________________ be drawn to their body. In so many ways, our American Christian culture has such a warped view of sex and sexuality. It's like people don't even know what Song of Songs was written about.

Our choices in how we dress – how short our skirt is, how low our shirt is, how tight our pants are – is the clearest reflection of our personal priorities and our openness to letting God’s Word alter our lives.
(author's emphasis)

Of course, we could just accept what the Bible teaches...that our love for others expressed in service and grace is the clearest reflection in our personalities and our openness to letting God's Word alter our lives...but why ruin your point with solid Biblical teaching?

"Lust is a sin".
That ends it right there.

Sounds like it is something between her and her husband to work out....not a standard for all women!!
