Excited about this week's chapel speaker lineup: Bro. Jeremy Snipes, Bro. Ken Schaap, Pastor Wilkerson, and Pastor Luis Martinez! You can listen to any of our chapel messages on our website: http://hylesanderson.edu/media/

Website seems to be down.... are they still going?  Thought Ken was leaving by now....

He still has 65 days, 17 hours, 15 minutes, and 39 seconds before he is unleashed.

65 days?  I thought he was leaving in January?  You mean we still have to hear him scream more?!  Oh, Please!!!

I listened to a few of the chapel messages and could not believe how many of them have ground hum in the audio.  They need to call AVCom!

I guess they are leaving when his house sells.... BUT IDK how that's going to work considering how many houses are for sale in CP. Also that might have just been a hiccup because the site is back up.

*nevermind*, trying SO hard to not be snarky. May they be wildly successful.

I'm so glad the count down clock is back up and running.

I was having a hard time keeping track of the days, hours, mins & seconds with out it.

What a relief

Will all 5 men be paid staff members? Will their wives be on staff also?

If so they will be starting with more pastoral staff than most of the baptist churches in the U.S.!

Does anyone know about the area they will be locating in?

Phone book seems to list a bunch of Baptist churches already.

Sword - according to the Lake County assessors office Cindy's house has not sold.  Houses in Lake County during winter time is a bad time to sell.  No one looks in the winter time.  Spring maybe.  A lot of homes on the market.  Have watched one home next to HAC that's been on the market about 2 years.  It's a really nice home, too.  Good luck to Ken & Candice.  I know her dad is having problems selling his too.  Ken's house is priced right too.

That's strange. I do service work all over and was on the street where Schaap's house is today. The 'For Sale' sign was down and there were lights on with the driveway plowed. I assumed they sold it. Maybe they are just renting?

If it has indeed been sold the property appraiser would show that. Price as well. Sometimes it takes a couple months for the information to be processed.

Maybe Cindy has been divorced and remarried and is moving back home?  (not. who would trade NC for IN?)

BTW  Big snowstorm going on in Northern Wis. as we speak!

To the best of my knowledge his house has not sold yet. I still see him on Sundays at South Point (Cindy was there 2 weeks ago too).
