Avery, on the FFF, left some statements open that he is not among many openness people that use the Granville Sharp rule as one of the basis for believing in the deity of Christ.

I have titled a new thread over there and he is not responding. Does Avery deny the deity of Christ? Will KJVOs press him for an answer?

Does Steven Avery even post over here? If he does, I haven't seen it yet.

I had not heard of Granville Sharp or his rule before... so of course I looked him up. It has to do with Greek grammar. Since I don't know Greek, I don't understand it. Somehow I manage to believe in the deity of Christ without it. But it's interesting that Sharp was a major abolitionist.

No, as far as I know, Avery hasn't discovered this board yet.

Course not. With half the Internet on ignore, Captain Oblivious probably doesn't realize we're not posting to him anymore.

Even in ignore mode, we have been able to uncover more of Avery's heresy.

He says he will not use the phrase because it is not found in Scripture. He only uses biblical language.

This is simply classic liberal theology. He has divorced the clear meaning of Scripture from the language of Scripture.

He denies the deity of Christ.
