Woohoo! It's been too long since the border cops had a good target to practice their non-lethal weaponry on.
 
Sanderson is an idiot on an incredible number of levels, but that doesn't mean he is wrong about the basic premise. Freedom in America is dying the slow death of a thousand cuts at the hands of the nanny state and the 'security' needs of our country. No crime was being committed, or even looked like it was being committed. The police simply threw their weight around and expected to be obeyed for no other reason than that they were the police. When a society submits to that it is like a frog being slowly boiled in a pan of hot water - the freedom that was taken away by police assuming power becomes, sooner or later, written into law, and all men are then forced to submit.

I agree with you in principle and agree we need to stand up and speak out of government intrusion in our lives and freedoms....the problem with Spammy is not necessarily the issue, but that he makes himself the issue.  All one has to do is look at his videos and see that over and over again.  He is no different than Benny Hinn in that he is only able to do "miracles" when the camera is rolling!

There's the rub.  There are (as you point out) legitimate concerns with privacy, security of person, personal liberty, etc. that should be addressed in a reasonable and rational manner. Chasing LEOs around with a camcorder and accusing them of harrassing you is not reasonable nor rational.  Spammy is crusiin' for a bruisin' - quite intentionally. He's trying to set himself up as a "martyr" for the crackpot-"patriot" cause.

Precisely....and he doesn't make a good martyr at all, when he is tazed he sounds like a girl!
