No, but I hope and pray there are no more, or that, if there is then the Lord will return before.
 
I predict that either Mr. Trieber or Mr. Chappell is fired for committing an abomination on the same level as Sodomy...Lying.

Proverbs 12:22: Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.
 
That is just the thing.  We can't.  If we could, we could make a statement and begin to draw attention to the issue.  However, these are deceivers and their deception is great.  Much of the shock is that a Christian who was a good teacher of other Christian's became so confident in his Christianity that he allowed himself the pleasure of sin for a season which ultimately made havoc of his life.

Hmmm....brings up an interesting question about the "severity" of sins. I often hear people say homosexuality is an abomination. The verse you quoted also labels lying to be an abomination. If I were inclined to be a smart alek I would ask which city was ever destroyed by God for being infested with liars. If that ever actually happens, my guess would be Washington, DC.

We're no where close to being done with this scandal...don't get ahead of yourself.

And what makes Lancaster Baptist cultic (IMHO) is that no one will stand up to Chappell. So he is in no danger of losing his job. The reason he is panicked is there is a risk of losing a bunch of prospective WCBC students (money and influence).

Again, that is just my opinion.
