I was just wondering... is it ok to wear a white sock and a tan sock together?  Is the prohibition only on black and white socks?  Thanks.

You'd have to consult the paint card samples.  8)

Yes.  However, it is not permitted to create puppets from a tan sock and a white sock and begin using them on this forum to argue with oneself, or astroturf other posters.

If the tan sock and the white sock were to make new socks, someone's sock drawer would look downright unorganized! And then  their head might explode. The end.

There's no reason to wear any footwear but sandals until Fall. Socks don't really go with sandals unless you live in the Northwest, where it isn't necessarily considered a fashion faux pas, but if it isn't cold there's no reason to. There may be a cold and wet day earlier, and I might wear them then, with shoes or even boots.

For a guy with 2 posts under his belt, both this morning, you seem awfully well-versed in one of this forum's stupider in-jokes.

Doesn't matter because either way it's a stupid question.  Jesus never forbade romance/marriage/procreation between two people because of their chromosomes.1

1 Obvious exception being XX vs. XY.

Oh, that kind of sock sorting!  :o

White and tan together is done all the time, and we rarely even notice.

Tan and yellow is better though, if Jessica Sanchez is any example.

And what color sock is best when you put your foot in your mouth?

?

Well, in that case, I would think cleanliness and flavor would be a lot more important than color.  :P

For this reason, I'd think white.

I would say unbleached natural. Dyeing it white is no different than dyeing it any other color.

Be easier to check on it's cleanliness (and thereby flavor) if it was white.  ;)

In that case, any old sock will do.  Lets just hope it's clean.  ;)

DING, DING, DING!!!!

We have a winner!

Oh, I see.  There is a new rule - consult paint cards for marriage instead of sorting socks.  Gotcha.

It is good to know that the amount of melanin in a person's skin is a major criteria for a godly marriage.
