I agree. Windows XP was much better than NT. But then came Vista which was terribly uninspiring. Fortunately, Windows 7 fixed it. Unfortunately, Windows 8 is not only uninspiring, it's a disaster.
Vista's horrible. It's like some peanut in accounting decided there wasn't enough in XP and had to add to it. Any true user of Windows would get rid of Vista and only use their trusty XP*.
* Of course, they need to use the earliest release of XP and not add any patches, upgrades, or add-ons to the program even if the earliest versions cannot even perform the functions necessary for today's users.
