Government monitoring our cell communication is nothing new.

In 1989 (clear & present danger, 1991 (Sum of all fears) & 1994 without remorse, author Tom Clancy reveals the NSA's ability to intercept and scrutinize our cell phone calls. It’s not a stretch to conclude 20 years later that the NSA would also monitor text message, email, bulletin boards, blogs & any other internet communication.
That being said what should you never communicate through electronic means?

Obvious ones would include: Illegal activity, plots against president or other government, associations with criminals or terrorist.
What about your disagreement with current government leaders, extreme political or religious views, legal gun ownership, or your view for social or moral change in society.

If big brother is watching what might they be watching for?

I would share, but I fear they might be listening in ....

Anything you want to, but beware the consequences.

But when you stand up and oppose the gov't on what-ever issue,
count on it being "leaked" and in the news.

Run for office as a tea party candidate?  imagine your secret sins (or those of anyone at your ip address)
of any time in the past brought to the light of day, in public.

Pretty much they could blackmail a person or destroy a candidate and his family.

Even could come up in a custody battle, or to prove that a couple are not fit parents.

Or that nazi rally you went to to pass out tracts?  you could be painted as a participant.

the scenarios go on and on.

There are obviously certain key words and phrases you have to avoid in order for the NSA to ignore you.

Lol, that is funny!

er, I mean um, I am sure that the government has only our best interests in mind. And, um I know  that I don't need to worry 'cause I, er am, um innocent  and won't trigger any of their really important and secure systems. I only use the internet to get Pinterest recipes.
