Should a Pastor dress down to please it's members

How about if he dresses well, and pleases the high judge, Jesus Christ. ;)


Will anyone dress down, having to do court duty? You will be kicked out of the court room. :-[

Obviously, you've never had jury duty in Cook County Illinois. The hotel I used to work at would routinely "host" juries that needed to be sequestered. The sheriff's deputy would bring all the jurists into the hotel at one time. They would stop by the front desk just long enough to pick up the room keys and a bag of toiletry supplies. Some of the jurists were not dressed in their Sunday best. In a couple of cases, it was just a step or two above grunge.

I think it's in 2 Pharisees 4:17..."In order to pleaseth Jesus, thou must wear a minimum of formal robe and neck accessory. Failure to doeth so shall sendeth thee the fiery pits of hades itself. (KJV)

He would please Jesus Christ, and his congregation, if the pastor dressed in the clothes of honesty, humility, love, and truth. Many men of God look good on the outside, but inside they are wolves. Inside they have no heart. You can't judge a book by the cover. Luke 10:27 says, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' ... doesn't say love the Lord your God with your best suit. Actually, Jesus seemed to preach against loving the Lord with external rules and lies covering the heart.

His wife must be a "saint" to put up with him - of course I assume he's only this way online but you have to wonder. The same can be
said about Sanderson's wife and he's worse than TGL.
 
I don't see how the Pastors dress has anything to do with the price of eggs in China....or anything else!

Thanks for that information.  I have been trying to find a way to get out of this massive waste of time called jury duty.
