I've been fooling around with Linux's infinitely configurable Conky system monitor, and after spending a few hours last night learning the scripting language, I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Then I thought, it's been a long time since we had a desktop gallery, so why not start a new thread?

So, here's what I get to look at when I'm at my desk. Conky is the column on the left with all the useful system information. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 Linux with the KDE desktop and Cairo-Dock along the bottom. The wallpaper is, of course Quorra (Olivia Wilde) from Tron: Legacy and I chose this particular workspace because I thought the colour scheme works particularly well under Conky.

So what does everyone else stare at when they're working? Take a snapshot and put it up!

I'm running Linux Mint 14.0 still...I stick to the old paths.

Well, no, but feel free to reboot Windows first.

Actually, it is a MAC but I work in graphics and too much junk distracts me. So I go with a very plain blue desktop. In previous setups I went with gray.

My Windows 8.1 Desktop is completely black with my program icon on top.  Pretty plain.  I am a rather boring person.  Sorry.

Nothing fancy here. A little motivation for my upcoming 2 day, 100 mile bike ride....

Mine's kinda big so I'm going to link to it. (3360x1080)

I use display fusion to randomly load wallpaper on each monitor (1920x1080 and 2560x1440.)
The blue boxes on the right monitor are fences. If I double click the desktop they usually disappear (that's how they usually are but I decided to show them so my monitor didn't look totally blank...)
Custom window/start menu skinning using window blinds.
Yes I actually bought PS.

I have something called IBM DOS 4.0  I just updated from IBM Personal Computer DOS 1.0.
Can I do what you all are doing?
