"A little #magicmike info:The f word is used 150 times, & the s word 90 times. The movie is 4 lust"!
From a lady's Facebook Profile....I copied it to mine.

I was surprised at the number of Christian ladies....women....who defended the movie and the Shades of Grey books.....mommy porn has arrived and gone mainstream!

I just didn't think they would be accepted into the Christian mainstream!

Again, am I just a prude or is this Christian liberty on parade?

It should be addressed from every pulpit. Its disgusting, degraded and causing women to behave like pervy men.

We as Christians are meant to reflect Christian values. Being saved is not an excuse to sin. And reading material that "turns you on" is sinful.

I haven't seen the movie, and have no interest in seeing it. It just doesn't sound like my kind of thing at all. But until I at least read a few intelligent reviews of it, so I have some clue what I'm talking about, I will neither criticize it nor defend it.

That seems like an awfully broad brush to be painting with.

As far as 50 shades, like Izzy, I haven't read it so will not comment on it in particular.

I've heard about it. I have a cousin who likes along with her friends. She also likes to post a lot of pictures of half-naked men on facebook page. I think a lot of preachers don't preach against it because they don't realize that girls can be visually turned on as well - even conservative Christian girls. With guys like me however all we need to do is look once at an attractive provocatively dressed lady and it's instant, there is no thought or imagination needed and we can choose to think pure thoughts and forget about what we just saw just like ladies can. I've had a lot of experience in this - in my town we have a few that are some of the most beautiful women in the world so if  I can think and live pure any one can if they choose to.

The only sin today is to call something sin.  Don't be impinging up our liberty!

"Impinging up"? That's worthy of Bush41!  :P

But of course there's no shortage of sin. Pretty much anything we do that "misses the mark", that's not Christ-like, not befitting a citizen of heaven, is sin. And if calling it sin is sin, well, we're all sinners. Just forgiven sinners.
