Those who are not familiar with "King James Only" extremist Gail Riplinger may want to check out this report from the Bible For Today site of Dr. D.A. Waite, himself a staunch King James Only man, and a real Christian gentleman (I met him many years ago).

Some of the highlights: Riplinger told Dr. Waite she had never been married before marrying her current husband. The Waites located the documents showing two previous weddings and divorces (initiated by Riplinger), which they posted on the Internet. False claim to have been bedridden for 6 years (p. 37)

Her earned degrees are in Interior Design, Home Economics and Art - not theology or biblical languages (p. 50). Her honorary doctorate was from Hyles-Anderson College, a school that is unaccredited, that does not have a doctoral program, and that once awarded an honorary doctorate to John R. Rice's horse. (p.55)

Riplinger admitted that she cannot read Greek. (p. 60)

(Riplinger has also been refuted and repudiated by David Cloud, who is himself a staunch "King James Only" advocate).

Yeah, I think it was Waite's exposé that pretty much tanked her reputation even among fundamentalists, if I remember correctly.
