Rachel Jeantel gives Piers Morgan a vocabulary lesson

I could not even make this up.  Seriously,

In an interview with Piers Morgan last night, Rachel Jeantel said that "cracka" is not a derogatory word for a white person.  It means a police-type person of any race. 

(The Urban Dictionary needs to be updated -- it still lists "cracka" as anti-white.)

She claims "n*gger" is still a derogatory word for a black person, but "nigga" means any male, including even a Chinese male, and is not a racist term. 

EDIT:  She also believed Zimmerman was following Trayvon because Zimmerman was gay and wanted to rape him. 
 
Glad to know that I can now say President Obama is a nigga and be politically correct. Things you learn as you get older.

Yeah, but now I need to fix my signature, since I'm not a police-type guy.
 
So it turns out that the N-word is "our" word after all . . . as long as it ends with -a and not -er. Who knew?

Also, Trayvon wasn't a thug, because he only smoked weed - which, I was surprised to learn, is a black word - twice a week.

Pfft. That interview was a travesty. I get the impression that he was originally supposed to have George Zimmerman's brother on, but he pulled out due to the tea-guzzling ponce's derogatory Twitter remarks about George.  So Anderson Cooper got a juror, Hannity got one of Zimmerman's attorneys, and Musket Piers was stuck with the low-information-voting "star witness" with a speech impediment.  Sounds fair.
 
If Paula Deen said "nigga" instead of "n*gger", then someone owes her a huge apology. 
 
You know, it's possible Zimmerman is a gay fish.  Does anyone know if he likes fish sticks? 
 
Maybe there is a generational thing about it.  My son told me the kids at school all call each other "nigga", regardless of the color of their skin.

Doesn't that make him a homophobic bigot?
 
This girl is a delight that any young man would be proud to take home to his parents.
 
I showed this to a couple of black friends at work today. After cracking up they just cringed and said it set them back 40 years.

This is how stupid/desperate  the prosecution was to go after Zimmerman.

I was shocked to see this claimed, not only from Ms. Jeantel, but also from the prosecution team...but only in the post-trial interviews.

And the lovely and talented Ms. Jeantel must be "no skewl." I swear that as I watched the interview, in which she was obviously labouring to express herself in complete sentences using one-syllable words, you could hear the gears turning.

Well, if "old school" means driven by facts, reason, and the rule of law, and "new school" means taking to the streets and smashing stuff when you don't like the outcome . . . can't argue with her there, really.
