Jimmy Carter dead at 100: Former president passes away in Georgia
Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has died at the age of 100, almost two years after announcing he would spend his final days in hospice care.
I might watch that. In the trailer there's a clip where Carter admits his son Chip lit up with Willie Nelson in the Whitehouse. Not something that a Christian father would/should find humorous in my opinion. For a more lighthearted look at President Carter, look for this movie:
I don’t think he thought it was humorous that his son lit a blunt with Willie in the WH, I think he was indicating that Willie pulled one over on him by saying he did it with a “White House servant” when in fact it was his own son. That was my interpretation of that scene.I might watch that. In the trailer there's a clip where Carter admits his son Chip lit up with Willie Nelson in the Whitehouse. The best thing he could do for the nation...decrease the population of Democrats.![]()

My older brother only time he ever voted for a democrat was for Carter. I have not let him forget it either after all these yearsFor Huk's sake, I was in the 5th grade during that election. My dad voted for Carter, because Dad was a union member, and unions vote Dem.
Our school held mock elections that year, because Social Studies still had remnants of Civics, and I too voted for Carter in that 'election,' because I knew Dad supported him.
Carter won our mock election.
Definitely harsh, not so sure about the fair part, especially considering this article was written by the president of the SBC, which Carter famously divorced himself from. Aside from the Camp David Accords, really nothing positive is mentioned.Al Mohler's op-ed. Harsh, but fair.

I’m not banking on a neutral article here. This is the opening paragraph on Wikipedia describing PJ Media: PJ Media, originally known as Pajamas Media, is an American right-wing commentary website.Take it for what it is worth...
I was a baby when Carter was in his last year of presidency, so I certainly had no say one way or the other, but nearly all of the states we today call “conservative” voted for Carter. Reagan’s 1980 victory pretty much permanently changed the makeup of the map. By the way, you can thank VP Agnew and President Nixon for Carter being in office to begin with. For Huk's sake, I was in the 5th grade during that election.
