Prayer request

I am recovering from the first of 3-4 possible surgeries.  This is a trying time in my life and my family.  The thing is, I am not doing as well as I had hoped from the first one, and I am requesting prayer that I may get through this without out having to repeat the first one, and to endure the trial.  I realize that I am a blessed person and that there are people, probably some on this forum, way worse off than I am.  I rejoice, not in the trial, but because of what the trial can do in my life.  I heard David Jeremiah say to fast forward and see the results:  endurance that brings about maturity as a Christian.  That is the reason to rejoice.  He said that Jesus endured the cross and the suffering for the joy that was before Him, in other words, He hit fast forward.  I want God to work in my life through this and covet any prayers.
 
Thanks for all prayers.  Riding to pray and praise this evening with my wife.  I can not drive yet, and I'm not sure when I will be able to, but I have made some improvements since I first posted and asked for prayer.
