A very good friend of mine's son, John Hodge, late 30's, went into cardiac arrest and his brain was without oxygen for 8 to 20 minutes.
He is currently in ICU in a vegetative state.
He did respond when my friend tried to clear out his nose by jerking his head back, but that's pretty much it.
Thank you for your prayers.
I can say this, he drank a lot of energy drinks, and to counter their effects, a Med Express doctor prescribed sedatives, it was after that he experienced cardiac arrest.
 
An update on John Hodge:
I asked, Can you give me an update?
"Yes, he has shown some small signs of recognition, still has pneumonia. They continue to try and wean him off of the ventilator. When he is able to breathe without it we will then be able to move him closer home."
