After 5 months of extreme pain (with no whining) my husband underwent 2 major back surgeries, 2 days apart.  The first surgery was 4 hours and he was walking a few hours later.  After the second surgery- walking and climbing stairs a few hours later, completely pain-free.  He is 2 1/2 weeks post-surgery and was given a clean bill of health.  The spine surgeon (who also works with my husband) said he can return to work any time, although he was initially told he would need 8 weeks for recovery.  All glory goes to the Great Physician.

During the last 2 weeks we have had daughter, son-in-law, 3 grand kids living with us (until mid-July), a 5-night VBS (I co-direct and teach), a missionary couple stay with us for a week, a family of 7 visit and daily visits to assisted-living  to care for my 92-year-old mom.  And the Lord kept me sane.  One son who is in pre-med was called to full time missions.  Amen!  Youngest son got his driver's license.  Oh me!

Bless the Lord!

Exciting News......Praise God for your husband's health!!

Good news indeed! My wife has had three surgeries on her spine. She has 5 fusions in her neck and lives in constant pain. Whenever I hear of someone having spinal surgery I cringe because I know what is involved.

Yup!

My oldest brother has severe back trauma and pain that he lives with constantly.  I don't want to see anybody go through that sort of torment.  Praise the Lord for your husband's successful surgery.

I knew you were one of our heroes... I'm glad your husband is doing good.
