We saw two professions of faith in the Lord in the men's jail ministry today, and six ladies saved!

Ain't God good!

That is something to make me rejoice!

The one man balled like a baby as he prayed to receive Christ, in the sincerest and sweetest prayer of salvation I may have ever heard.

Amen.

Was also blessed this past weekend to lead a young girl to the baptistry waters.

God is indeed so good, all the time.

Going door to door today I passed a rickety old house that was obviously being remodeled.  I could hear the noise of a hammer, and power saw, so I was sure that somebody was there, but I really hate interrupting people when they're working.  I started to just go on to the next house, but was convinced in my conscience to simply go in and give him a tract.  The door was open, so after knocking and calling inside, I stepped into the entrance and a young fellow from the back greeted me.  I started to hand him a tract and move on, but was led to speak to him at some minimal length.  I'll make a long story short by saying that the young fella allowed me to share the gospel with him.  As I proceeded with the plan of salvation it became apparent that he was more than a slight bit interested in hearing the gospel.  Nearing the end of the presentation, and sensing that there was some conviction present, I began to approach an invitation for him to receive Christ, but as all too often is the case, a distraction appeared out of nowhere.  A man who was giving him an estimate for providing cabinets showed up and came in, making the young man ill at ease with our presence.  I urged him to trust Christ.  He said "maybe later".  I asked if I could come back in a bit.  He said yes.  Me and my pastor went and had some lunch, then returned in about an hour or so.  He was still there, and alone again.  He gladly greeted us, and we had another somewhat lengthy discussion about the Savior and salvation.  He eagerly listened.  Praise God, after the wonderful offer of forgiveness in Christ was presented he bowed to receive the Lord.

Ain't our God so good?
