I literally just got off the phone with my pastor who notified me of the accidental death of an adult son to one of our church members.  Please pray for the family.
 
Thanks for the <continued> prayers.  The death was unexpected, and the family is absolutely stunned, as the circumstances surrounding the tragedy are a bit cloudy at this point.

Thanks again for your prayers.  The folks who lost their adult child are my aunt and uncle.  They're real salt of the earth kin, and great Christians, but having one of your children precede you in death is extremely difficult under any circumstances, let alone suspicious ones.  Law enforcement authorities are investigating the matter, as there are details emerging that aren't quite adding up.
 
Thanks again for all prayers for the family.  The funeral will be Friday.

Praying for all involved in this difficult situation; I can't imagine the pain of their loss.
 
Appreciate all the continued prayers.

The funeral <for my cousin> is at noon today.  There will be many people there, quite a few that are unsaved.  My cousin was saved at our church a couple of years ago after a Christmas program.  He had struggled a bit in the faith, and some who are lost might see that as evidence <or justification for their unbelief> that he was not saved, but I believe he was indeed trusting Christ.  I struggled for a time (several years) after coming to Christ, as did my pastor and numerous other Christians I know, the Apostle Peter not withstanding. 

Along with my pastor who will bring the message I will have a small speaking part in the funeral, so pease pray that I/we will be able to minister words of comfort, healing, and salvation.

Thank you kindly.  The service was as expected, filled with sorrow and pain, but the gospel went out freely.  Many of the family told the pastor and I at the meal after the burial that they were very pleased with the way the funeral was conducted (and several of those people were losts folk).

The circumstances surrounding his death are still suspicious and under investigation (with one person arrested already for something that could be related to his death), please pray that law enforcement find the truth in this, and that the family get justice/resolution/finality.
