I'll be the first to say that I do NOT want to go through persecution. However, some of the most inspiring stories are of persecuted christians that have withstood horrible things and come out on the other side glowing. Anyone that can read Fox's book of martyrs and not stand in awe at the display of faith has something wrong with them. Or accounts of christians undergoing horrible tortures and yet still have a forgiving spirit towards their tormentors. There are christians in the world that live every day knowing it could be there last because some extremist with a black mask and a machete might end it for them. Compare to some christians who get their feelings hurt the least little bit and the last you see of them is their backside going out the church doors.
