been up most of the night with a family member who knows the people involved and who are directly affected by this...... ..
the ems community on oahu is pretty small and very close knit... .and even those who have been retired for several years stay
close to others still on the job..... no names have been officially released yet... and the cause is not yet known... if you can
please pray for the medic injured by this and for the family of the patient who died...

thank you for all who are praying for those involved and who were affected.... they have given an official
update but not much is really known at this point.... we are going back over to meet with my dads friends
and former coworkers this evening... ....he;s going on 48 hours without sleep at this point... and i haven;t
had much more... as family members of first responders there are a lot of things we fear could happen
... but never something like this.. .. btw.. this is one of the paramedics my dad helped train years ago...

thank you.... ... his name jeff wilkinson... he;s 36 years old... is married and has 2 small children..... at this point
he is still listed as being in critical condition.... with massive burns and also respiratory and airway burns.... but
according to staff at the burn unit he is making progress and doing better than they expected...... .but please
do continue to pray for him and his family.... they have a very hard time ahead of them....
