An 85 year old lady named Delores who has faithfully attended our church for some 50 years had a stroke yesterday, is paralyzed on the left side and is hemorrhaging blood  on the brain.
She was faithful to our choir and even sang solos still.
Her voice was raspy, but she could still hit some high notes.
She sacrificed so our church could buy a new sound system, came faithfully to practices, sang in special groups, constantly helped cook, clean up, and set up for special events.
She did so much for the Lord and to be a blessing to her fellow saints and her pastor.
My heart hurts. :(

I'm sorry to hear it. Heaven will be filled with the unsung people like Delores. May God give her grace and peace during this time.

Elderly saints who serve the Lord as long as they possibly can are such an encouragement.  May the Lord bless her.

What a beautiful lady. Thank you for introducing her to us.

Wish there were more like her in the church.

My husband and I have found recently that many of our closest friends are passing away, and that's becausebwe surrounded ourselves with older, godly servants who were younger at heart  as friends. It is sad. My prayers are with you.

What a wonderful testimony....Thank you for sharing!! Praying

Thank you all for praying.

We lost our Dorcas 2 years ago.  My heart still hurts.
