On the HAC FFF there have been many threads started concerning Jack Hyles.  There are multitudes of different opinions.  While some opinions may not have changed through the years, others may now feel differently.  Here is the thread topic - As you look back at the legacy of Jack Hyles, and you look at any influence he has had on your life, what would be your current synopsis of him?  If you were telling someone who knew nothing of Jack Hyles about his life, influence, and ministry, what would you tell them?

I would describe him as Donald Trump with a better sense of humor and perhaps a tad bit more compassionate.

Quite a challenge...

He was a man of talent, especially in words and motivating others.  He built the largest Sunday School in the world in the 1970s. However, he became involved (at least emotionally) with another woman, and his work became all about him as time went by.  He wouldn't listen to his friends remonstrances, and demand complete loyalty from those around him. He had a cult-like following around him that would cheer and applaud at anything he said.
