We all have goals we set for ourselves and that is to be expected.  In this life I haven't accomplished that much but some day in the not too distant future when I retire my goal is so high that most can only dream of such things without really enjoying the thought that it could actually come to pass.  My father didn't live to see this but when I retire I want to work at MacDonalds, become employee of the month and have a biscuit named after me.  What is your goal?

I have an interest in horticulture so I'd like to pursue a career in that with a specialty in pest control.

That sounds great. Here in the..we have this specialty pest control guy.
I've met him a few times, see him driving. He catches snakes then drops them off at the Tahoe
National Forest. He charges $100-$150 per snake, and only accepts cash as payment. His business is swamped, primarily due to the City people who move here.

Do these people know that snakes now have GPS units to guide them back to their original location?

Not exactly my greatest goal in life, but right now we are pursuing a substantial one with a lifetime of memories. We bought a camper and a truck. We are visiting all 50 states. So far, we have completed 12 (in one year), so it appears this will take us another 3 years :D

cash only, so he can avoid paying taxes.
I started a Company a while back thus hardly take side jobs anymore... BUT, as a licensed Contractor,
I only accepted cash as payment for jobs under $500 (or over if they offered!)

someone will turn him in for tax evasion
And who might this somebody be?

he is an diot
Oh the irony

  for advertising his payment arrangements...

Ok I'll bite. Who stated he advertises his payment arrangements?

Maybe I can give you lessons sometime.

I shot a 64 yesterday on our 18 hole course.

I would'a had a 62, but I got a double-bogey on the dang hole with the windmill.  :D

I think perhaps Solomon achieved that one. At least for a time.  :-*

This is not really a goal, because it's not something I can work toward.  But I really want to see Jesus return.  I don't believe in a secret rapture.  I believe Jesus will return in Glory in a spectacular way, and I hope I'll be around to see it from the ground.  (Obviously, I hope to be raptured a blink of an eye later.)

Maybe... someday... Right now, I am able to work from wherever I am at (internet stuff).
There are a couple of church building ministries that we do get involved in from time-to-time.

I'd like to be a linebacker for the Steelers.

AND......

I'd like to be a fighter jet pilot.

If I can't have that then, I'll settle for winning one of those mega-millions lotteries.

Then, I'd buy a new Shelby GT Mustang.  8)

That is not much of a goal. One of mine is to learn Arabic.  Another is to travel in India and minister to the poorest of the poor.
