I heard these in the 80s. I found these on one of the front pages in my NASB.
Who came up with these and why?

Yes it was Bro. Hyles.
In the 70s and 80s I wrote all the sermon points in my NASB 71.
It is now just a loose leaf bible in a box as I could not keep from losing pages when carrying it.
It is amazing what is in it.
When I look back at it, everything is there to tell you exactly what was going on.
I was so close to the forest that I misssed all the trees.

This is ludicrous... what if the authority is committing adultery?  This sounds just like Hyles' serious on "Justice" that was really "Why no one should judge me".

A proper statement is "Always stand by Scripture"
