Had a good first impression of him. He is a gentle and humble man. I told him I do not believe in god. He responded with a genuine question of what my beliefs were and I shared them with him. He didn't press on me about Jesus and etc. He simply talked to me for a couple minutes. Someone "important" tried to talk to him but he focused on me and my family/friends. I didn't feel snubbed or anyway, it felt like he was genuinely interested in the person.
Either way, I was impressed with this man. I asked some other alumni as well who are no longer fond of Hyles-Anderson. They told me it was good for HAC to have John Wilkerson as it's chancellor.
