Me, Sub, Jo, abcaines and YOU….

Are now truly unburdened by what has been and are free to pursue our dreams, ambitions and aspirations.
LOL! Right. Just don't "commit" a felony that your government has created to make sure you are "unburdened". Ask those falsely convicted for peacefully and with the guidance of Capitol police, walked into their Capitol building on Jan. 6 and are now in prison if they are "free to pursue our dreams".

in my deep blue state of hawaii... the chicken littles who were so certain on november 4th that the new chairman mao wannabe and her sidekick ..elmer fudd .. were going to win the election - are truly distressed... the sky they secretly feared would fall has finally fallen.... (trump won instead). . and my liberal friends are very mad at me... .... again... ..... .... you might say they feel re-burdened by what they thought would never be again....... right now they are walking around with scowls and sour looks on their faces giving stink eye to everybody they see that might look happy.... as if to say.. "what do you have to feel so happy about?"...😡. . .

i keep telling them things will be fine . ..(like someone here told us all a few days ago... ).... . and especially here in hawaii - i tell them nothing is going to change for them... not in this utopian peoples republic of paradise..... ... and not with our governor saying he will take active steps ahead of january 2025 to "trump proof" hawaii as best he can either.. (he loves to copy whatever california does)....

i am waiting to see what the next phase of their grief for kamalas loss will look like... .will it follow the classic trauma/grief recovery pattern or does election outcome depression syndrome .. E.O.D.S.. follow a different course?...... i;m curious to find out... ..

I was listening to NPR last night. I do that to get a feel for the left. And it was Latinos on spotlight. There was an underlying assumption through the entire segment that having Trump elected is evil, wicked, strange and a perversion of American rights. Then they talked about abortion rights and made it sound like this was somethng guaranteed in the constitution. The right to autonomus control over women's bodies. Nothing about the babies. It made me so mad, because young people listening to this without critical thinking capabilities would swallow it wholesale, thinking that, "Oh yeah, the right to an abortion is a basic human right."

Here's hoping that those whose candidate lost the election will soon realize that they are actually winners and just do not realize it yet! We will all benefit from a Trump presidency!

no way.... they cooked up that stinking pan of pig innards themselves.... and they can eat it themselves too...... maybe they can get back some of the money they paid beyonce and oprah for endorsements to help pay for it.......

I really think that in their minds, the American people's money is unlimited.
One of my liberal friends on facebook tried to make an argument about how many poor could be helped by redistributing the wealth of billionaires. This person's math was off by 7 or 8 decimal places. When I pointed that out, she dismissed it and said her point still is valid. :)

Truth is when they broke down the barriers that were put out front they lost the support of many (possibly most) conservatives who believe in following the law. Those who entered the capitol through broke windows also knew they were breaking the law, Peoples House not withstanding. I feel those who did not enter the building should not be charged with anything, but those who forced their way in. Those who entered through the broke windows, do you feel they we in the right. The place to resolve your grievences is in court, not storming the capitol when the most solom of event was going on. Something that has set us apart as a country since the begining. The peacful transition of government.

I say start by redistributing George Soros' wealth.
The poor you have with you always. hating those with success even those with oppisite views is the Democrats game. That is what the left does. We should encourage and promote success and prosperity.

Agreed.

The Democrats complain about wealth disparities when they talk about men like Trump or Elon Musk, yet they turn a blind eye to the likes of George Soros, Bill Gates or any other big contributors to their war chest.

I read an interesting article the other day, (if I find it again I'll post a link) that said some organization... Discovery Institute??? I don't recall the name but they are trying to address the homeless crisis in Seattle by promoting a rehabilitation approach to get people on their feet instead of the current philosophy of "shelter first"....

DUH!

Not the exact article but it apparently cited this one: https://fixhomelessness.org/2024/di...cy-approach-for-seattles-homelessness-crisis/
