Of course we remember Bro. Hyles home spun remedy to the house wife whose life was tied up in knots:
He told her to: "Go home, make a pan of brownies, go to a nursing home and help someone who is worse off than yourself" or something like that.
Well, I think I came across where he may have picked that up from.
A well known and famous psychologist named Karl A. Menninger once said:
Once asked what action he would recommend if a person were to feel a nervous breakdown coming on: Lock up your house, go across the railroad tracks, and find someone in need and do something for him.

Do you all remember the story Dr. Hyles used to tell of the lady who wanted to commit suicide and Dr. Jack Kevorkian I mean Dr. Jack Hyles agreed to help her. The story ends with the lady being to busy (serving others) to kill herself.
