Yes. It is designed to partner a mature Christian with a new Christian for a series of seven sit-down Bible lessons covering the following: salvation, baptism, church attendance, Bible reading, prayer, giving, and witnessing. The format is very simple. The discipler has a sheet with some points and a whole bunch of scripture references. The new Christian has the same sheet with a few blanks in it. They take turns turning to and reading the Scriptures and the new Christian fills in the blanks. It allows for a relationship to be built. It allows a low pressure way for foundational truths to be grasped. It fosters an easy forum for questions and answers.
Of those who have made a profession of faith, and finished the entire eight week series our retention (IOW, they are still attending church) over the last three years is 95%.
