I was just on eBay, looking for a Christian cross necklace. Apparently in the UK there is a great furore over whether people can wear crosses at work.

Anyway, as I was looking, I realised; I dont need to wear a cross! How pointless and weak we must be when the only demonstration of our faith is to blatantly wear a necklace for all to see!

Is this not weak Christianity at is highest? "I wear a cross therefore I am a Christian". Its a form of idolatry.

Why are people not being barred from sharing the gospel at work? Are they not doing it?

So yes, this is just my thoughts, they are not set in stone. So I ask, in public how should we identified? By our deeds or by our fashion accessories?

are you a woman

Are you?

Yes, actually.  :P

Fashion accessories are just fashion accessories. How we live and how we treat people is our witness about Christ, not what kind of necklace we wear. That said, I don't see anything wrong with wearing a cross necklace, at least so long as one behaves at least sort of worthy of it. (Similar to the way a fish bumper sticker on the car of a road rage addict is not a good witness.)

No, males can wear them too! Although I like your point. But it can be just the same as wearing a Jesus fish T Shirt.
