A perfect sound for the home.  We've had plenty of it as my college age son has 4 friends here for some outdoor adventures- whitewater rafting in the morning.  What a fun stage in life!

Did everyone survive?

Love the laughter and good times.  Going to ride my recumbent bike on a 13 mile trail with my son and a bunch of people from our church on Saturday.  Everyone is looking forward to it.  Gnarly!

Even in times of sorrow and trails there should be laughter its good medicine for the soul....

ALAYboy's laugh has been compared to Daffy Duck.

not sure that's a good thang.

:D

They survived the whitewater rafting.  The water was high which always makes it challenging.

It is good to hear that people are enjoying the outdoors!

We live up a holler and out in the sticks, as they say round these parts.  This week we've been "camping out".  Well, ALAYboy wants to sleep out back in a tent but mama talked him into setting up a makeshift canopy over our bed and that is how we've been roughing it. :D  But seriously, we've been experimenting with out campfire/firepit most every evening in our back yard, trying different recipes and grilling different stuff, so enjoying the stars and God's creation has been even better this summer.

This reminds me of a new thread topic. :)

That reminds me.  Don't you owe me a ribeye or two?

lol, the offer still stands, either smoked on the backyard firepit, or the original locale, which still rates among all steakhouses as the best steak I've ever had.  Just make the trek down the river bro.

Yeah, but you know come December you won't be missin' those slick roads and sub-zero temps, as you sip on your daiquiri and listen to the waves crash ashore. :D

I have never drank in my life.. I would be drinking sweet tea. the ocean at sunset is beautiful.. I have not driven in snow in years....
