Longest lived president. Longest life post-presidency. First president to reach 100 years of age. Jimmy Carter outlived all his predecessors in the Oval Office, and two of his successors.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. This is what happens when you let guys swim around in nuclear reactors.
 
He may have been a terrible POTUS, but, as a human being he is quite a man. He and his wife earned my respect years ago. I don't agree with him on a lot of things, but, I know many who gained home ownership because of his willingness to step out and step up and help those who wanted a home and would work for it. God bless him and give him a peaceful passing.

I have said this many times and I will say it again. Jimmy Carter is the greatest Ex-President in the history of this country!

I mean this as a compliment with the utmost sincerity.

With the exception of him being a liberal activist, I'd agree.
