I certainly do not agree with Jimmy Carter's politics, but I can respect him for being a decent human being. Not particularly interested in his study Bible...But would be interested in reading about his life.

Worst president of my lifetime until now.  Obama will probably go down as the worst when he is done.  I hate to see what his study bible contains.  He probably has Ishmael as the chosen line, given his anti-Israeli views.  I wouldn't give you two cents for the bible.

I don't think it's that kind of study bible but I won't spend any money on it but maybe it will be in a local library somewhere sometime.

Carter has no standing to offer a study bible. He's not a noted bible scholar or theologian, or even a popular preacher. Being a failed president though a decent Baptist isn't enough. I'll pass.

P.S.: Ok, now that I've read the link, I guess it's mainly a "school of hard knocks" life lessons bible. And after 7 decades of teaching Sunday School, he might know a few things. But I'll still pass.

Carter is a member of the liberal wing of the SBC (Cooperative Baptist Fellowship) & I would hardly trust a supposed theologian who does not know the difference between a biblical christian and a Mormon.

I understand Carter's spiritual gift is ignorance, so I'll bet the notes are interesting....
