Wow, the new 'different' today is to wear a suit and a tie and be clean shaven.

You'll need the Strand Study Bible to open this site.

A friend and fellow student of mine actually won Jerry to Christ -- I'm going to say in the Spring of 1977. My friend worked with Jerry at the Hammond Times and brought him in. I knew him the very first day he set foot on campus. It didn't take long for Jerry to "outgrow" us. And soon he acted like he didn't know me.

I remember that he wore those glasses with a blue tint and frankly, I remember that he had an odor about him like he didn't wash very often. I grew to think that a lot of the stuff he did with intramural athletics (which I never played) was fairly ridiculous.

I left there in 1981 and lost complete touch with him and pretty much everything up there. I saw recently that he lived in Texas and was raising Rottweiler dogs. Such is life.

I hate when someone gets to the point where they are so valuable (in their own eyes, usually,) that they can't remember the 'little' people around them.
