Jack Hyles' Passion for Sunday School

While a few have made reference to this I have included a link.  While I am not a fan, I can see Bob Gray authoring this book.  It is in line with what he has done and who he is.  On the other hand, it makes me shake my head when he promotes a book authored by Dave Hyles.

It just amazes me on how quick he is to drop the hammer on anybody who departs from the faith, yet he is ok with promoting Dave Hyles' book.

Just plain wrong. While there may be ideas and methods worth following from Jack Hyles (though I very much doubt it), the goal is to make our churches like Jack Hyles' church, or even a "successful" church.  The goal should be to make our church into what God would have it to be - where saints are primarily fed the Word of God and Jesus Christ is exalted.
