After flipping through the thread about all the toy "doctors" at the Revival Fires conference, I decided two can play at that game.

I hereby award myself the honorary rank of Brigadier-General.

Only modesty prevents me from achieving the rank of honorary Field Marshall, though I'm certainly deserving of such a distinction, in my opinion.

For now.

Besides, you have to have something to strive for. If I shot my bolt and declared myself Honorary Worldwide Emperor right away, what would I have to look forward to in my later years?

Sweet.  I totally would have, too!

I can't wait to update my taxes to reflect my status.  Surely they will understand that these honorary titles are just as good as ones received by people in actual combat, right?
