Its not that much. I was a licensed financial advisor, worked for a CPA and have a degree in Business and spent 10 years in the Financial business, so HOW to invest, if I were to invest it, is not really the question.  I wonder, should I pay off my mortgage or buy a new car, or help my older children pay off student loans, or give it all to the local church (Not!).

Its not that much. 1. You should pray about.
2. You should be willing to do whatever the Lord wants you to do with the money.
3. Whether to invest or payoff the mortgage is a simple number crunching exercise.
4. Whether to payoff student loans or give to the church is a discretionary one.
5. I am a forum guy...so just ignore me...lol

Yeah...I have 17 years in the finance business, have trained advisors and still work with dozens of clients every year. I wish you well and pray the Lord leads you my brother. God bless

I keep getting emails from a prince in Africa who needs just the amount you inherited to pay for Bibles for his tribe.  Once he receives the money, he will be able to evangelize the whole continent, if I send him enough to get his printing press fixed also.

I sent that information to a lady in Nigeria whos husband died and left her millions.  She was wanting to help out good Christian groups like the Just me society. 

She cleaned me out man!!

But I guess I can get you that info after all you are a poster on the FFF.
