'Ol Dr. Bob Gray Sr hisself, trying to keep the dream alive. The men he has listed as faculty look like most of the are almost dead.

We believe that the 66 books (Old Testament and New Testament) of our English scriptures, which is the King James Bible (1611), were given under the direct supervision and supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit and therefore constitute the perfect, preserved and inspired words of God without any admixture of error (Ps. 12:6,7; Ps. 19:7).

King James is inspired, perfect. What rank heresy.

Egad. What PowerPoint Ranger designed that monstrosity of a Web site?

When your "About" section lists your sour grapes about not being accredited before anything else, you can guess you're not dealing with a serious institution.

Looking at the faculty, I see an awful lot of "Instructors," but notwithstanding the large number of people with "Dr." in front of their name, no one titled "Professor." How many of these "Drs." do you suppose earned their degree with a dissertation at a reputable graduate school? I suspect it's a decently rounded figure.

I also suspect the two points above are correlated.

They offer a "Doctor of Theology" degree:

You will be given a dissertation syllabus with all the IBOC requirements and the administration will choose a subject for you to study and thereafter write on.

🤣🤣🤣

You can tell these clowns never earned a doctorate for themselves. A proper doctoral candidate chooses his own topic, likely based on his advisor's research interests, his own career goals, and a few years of research into the state of knowledge in his field. A doctoral dissertation is supposed to contribute something original to the body of knowledge.

How does the administration choosing your thesis for you accomplish that? That's what you do with high-schoolers' and undergrads' term papers. It's not much of an original contribution if the thesis is probably a foregone conclusion.

From the web site:

"Pastors, start training your own in 2023." Isn't it a bit late for that?

"A place for pastor's [sic] to send people wanting to serve in the church for training." What is with the extraneous apostrophe?

"On the subject of accreditation, we believe that Dr. Jack Hyles had a perfect answer as to why Christian schools should not be accredited." Well, we can see who is the inspiration for this school.

"We at the First Baptist Church of Hammond have a nationwide Pastors’ School." Huh? Sounds like the accreditation page is recycled, cut-and-paste boilerplate from a previously existing web page.

The address listed is 1562 Old Hwy 99, Columbia, TN, 38401 - lest we forget, this is the address of Family Baptist Church, whose pastor, David Baker, was the vice president of Independent Baptist Online College until he killed himself last year after being accused of aggravated sexual battery. I would think they would want to distance themselves from the mess at Family Baptist. It shouldn't be that hard to move an online college - in fact, they are offering anybody the opportunity to start their own online college for a reasonable fee of $199.

"Pastor Beller is a renown [sic] Baptist historian and Pastor." According to this obituary notice, Pastor Beller died in 2014. But he is still teaching at IBOC. Now, that's remarkable [hic].

Where in his King James Bible does it say you are commanded to be KJO?

Yeah, it's the worst of the worst, in my mind. The blind leading the blind. They may have salvation somewhat right, but for all the heresy they teach, and yes I think his version of KJVO is rank heresy (among other things they believe and teach as central to the gospel), it is hard to hear the gospel.

Start Your Own Bible Institute With A Personalized Website For $199!

With a Bible Institute website, your students pay $49 per course! Website renews at $199 each year.

(from the same website)

Yes, you can start your own online Bible Institute with a personalized website for only $199!!! This is laughable on so many levels!

I helped a guy who was working on his Master's at an accredited university. He did more work than any of these "doctors" and received a doctorate from an accredited seminary. He later became a Navy Chaplain who ministered to people fighting for our country!

But good old Bob! Steal people's money so you can get another freakin' Cadillac!

P.S. One of his websites from last year had typos throughout. Just what people need to see on a theological "advertisement".

Sadly Dr Evans is in a nursing home not able to speak to classroom or group. I didn't see dh name listed that must be a mistake .

"A place for pastor's [sic] to send people wanting to serve in the church for training." What is with the extraneous apostrophe?

The school has two or three English courses, apparently designed to teach pastors the basic English skills they should have learned in grade school. Looks like their web designer slept through those classes.

How renown [sic] can he be if he's been dead for 10 years, and no one noticed?

As an aside, relative newcomers to the FFF may not know that "Yeller" Beller is the reason this forum and its prior iterations are all named some variant of "Fightin' Fundamentalist Forum." It was originally the Jack Hyles Forum, until Beller raised a huge stink about taking His Hylesness's name in vain because the forum allowed points of view other than complete sycophancy.

And relative old-timers remember it fairly well😉

"A place for pastor's [sic] to send people wanting to serve in the church for training."

I've never heard a church named "The Church for Training."

If you want to send "people for training," that might be possible.
