Have we got a thread going on here regarding FFF members from years of old who are no longer with us? If not, I believe it would be something really nice that we could go to and honor the memories of those who have passed on.

Two I can recall who are no longer with us are Dr. Cassidy and Pastor Bob (Later known as just plain ol' "Bob").

Of course I remember the passing of Just Mama and who could ever forget the Jass Family! What a horrible tragedy!

I am guessing there probably is one here somewhere so Ransom, I apologize in advance!

Just send me a link and a snarky comment where I may find it, It would be much appreciated!:LOL::LOL::LOL:

No thread that I can recall. Fire away!

Let me add to your list: CIndy Swanson. She was a regular on the Don Elbourne incarnation of the board, and posted under another name, which I've forgotten.

Pastor Bob... would that be the same as Dr. Bob? The big guy? Can't remember his last name.

No, we had a proliferation of Bobs. Dr. Bob is Bob Griffin, still active on BaptistBoard. Pastor Bob was Bob Lemmon, a pastor and musician who passed away about two years ago.

Ah... thanks for clearing that up.

No...Pastor Bob Lemmon, and Dr. Bob Griffin. Dr. Bob is still alive and kicking back in Watertown, Wisconsin, where he recently moved after retiring from his church in Wyoming.

Was "Saggy Woman" (Tina Sagisi) on the old FFF? Seems I remember her being there along with Jeri Massi. Jeri is still alive and kicking as well. Tina died this year, pretty suddenly. Shocked me. I remember all of those others passing as well.

I remember Cindy Swanson. She was somewhat of a celebrity wasn't she? Some sort of Radio personality?

I don't know if her fame quite rose to the status of "celebrity," but she was an announcer on her local Christian station, and also did voice-over work, so probably she had a high profile in her community. We got into some music discussions and she kindly sent me one or two demo CDs of musicians she thought I'd like.

She was definitely active on BaptistBoard back in my time, but I don't remember her ever posting on the FFF, though I could be misremembering.

I remember her well from the Baptist Board. Somehow she and I struck up a friendship that lasted over 20 years. She was always an encouragement to me when certain things started to enter my life. She also usually tried to keep the peace between me and Jeri Massi. I really do miss her crazy occasional cards filled with all kinds of little stars, strings, etc! LOL

I miss his humor on Facebook.
Otmer lived right down in Chattanooga, just over Monteagle. We were supposed to meet up just a few months before he passed away. We, unfortunately, had to go out of town that weekend

Otmer knew Ernest Varney, the one who discipled me when I was in Pensacola. Otmer sent me the link to Mr.Varney's obituary. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
