If You Are Burning the Midnight Oil in Hammond.........

The Chicago suburb’s 37 gas stations must close during those hours under a new ordinance designed to curb crime.

I thought FBCH's "soulwinning" got a million people saved. That's 13 times the population of Hammond. Why is there any crime at all?

Spoke to a major gas provider in Hammond and they indicated that because they are a very large corporation, they can apply to stay open which they did. All anyone has to do is go a little further south into Highland and Griffith and still get gas DUH!

On our way back from a Montana- Idaho trip headed east we passed through The Region on 80/94 around 2 or 3 in the morning and really needed to get gas. We took the Kennedy exit and still needed to head about a mile south to fill up.
We live about a four hour drive from there, and was a bit of a different take treating Hammond as a gas stop and not a pilgrimage to Mecca.:ROFLMAO:

On a similar note working at dollar General and Family Dollar are some of the most dangerous jobs in america.

Because of many of their locations, late hrs and limited staff, they have become prime targets for shoplifters and armed robbers.

Imagine giving your life for a minimum wage job.
