IT WAS BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION. THAT I HAVE OFFENDED ONE OF THE MORE PROMINENT POSTERS ON THIS FORUM. I WAS CHASTISED BY ADMIN THROUGH A RIVATE MESSAGE. I AM VERY SORRY FOR MY ACTIONS AND DO NOT WISH TO RECIEVE ANY FURTHER RIDICULE OR PUNISHMENT. SOMETIMES WE GET BEHIND THESE COMPUTER SCREENS AND FORGET WE ARE ACTUALLY COMMUNICATING WITH AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING IN CYBERSPACE. PLEASE WEBMASTER DO NOT BANISH ME FOREVER FROM THIS FORUM. SOMEONE, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO TO RECTIFY THIS MATTER.

Well, for starters, you can stop with the all caps. Although you say you are not screaming, in internet etiquette, all caps can signify you are yelling and that is considered rude.

You know, webmaster, this forum probably has an option to refuse a post when people use all CAPS in their subject line.  It may even have an option to refuse a post when the person uses all CAPS in the main text of the post.  I recommend using the options, if they are available.

You know, webmaster, this forum probably has an option to refuse a post when people use all CAPS in their subject line.  It may even have an option to refuse a post when the person uses all CAPS in the main text of the post.  I recommend using the options, if they are available.

There might also be a plugin that detects all-cap posts, and converts them to lower or mixed case.  VBulletin had one. Either Don's forum, or Andrew's, used it - I forget which.
