Btw, can any one verify if this is true as I can only take this man's word for it? I know there have been women like this since Biblical times but this was a professing Christian. We can't just pretend this a man's problem.

There is only one way to get out of a situation like that whether you are a man or woman - get the heck out of there - don't try to reason with him or her just run even if you have to hurt the person doing so - pretend the building is on fire.

Funny but it's pretty that's not her real name. He surprisingly gives her real name at the end. He says she is a teacher in public schools in Wisconsin. It doesn't look like she's a serial predator but it is shameful she got away with what she did 26+ years ago.
 
I think I went to the wrong high school. My high school French teacher was a guy.

No, I was lucky that none of that happened at my school in those days.
 
I found out on a Facebook group from someone who knows the author that it's all true and his former Maranatha classmates still shun him even though it has been over 26 years.  I don't know how they think that's right or Biblical. In 1 Corinthians there is mention of a man who committed fornication that even the unsaved thought was perverse and Paul told the church in the 2nd epistle to welcome him back after he repented.  If someone is truly (Biblically) repentant he should be welcomed back. We are only not to "company" with a brother or sister who still practices fornication and is known publicly for it not those who committed fornication with one person and repented.
 
I went to a big city public high school, class of '72. It was a pretty large school (perhaps 1200 students), and I'm not aware that we had any such incidents. Of course, some students were having sex with each other, and maybe some teachers with other teachers, but I never heard of those lines crossing.

I think it may have went on but guys being guys don't want to report it. I know guys think that if you don't want to have sex with just any beautiful woman even if she is older they will get labelled as gay. To me a sixteen year old boy should be treated the same as sixteen year old girl. A sixteen year old boy is less mature than a sixteen year old girl. They are not as emotionally ready as a sixteen year old girl for all the consequences of a sexual relationship. We hear and some of us may even know of sixteen year old girls today who are legally married but sixteen year old boys married is very odd even if it does happen.

On the old FFF it was never mentioned but that may be because it was something that happened to a high school student.  Also I noticed that this incident happened under Weniger and not Cedarholm - I know Cedarholm was still alive - and I've only heard positive things about Cedarholm even if they disagreed with him on some secondary doctrinal issues. I wonder how he would have dealt with this situation if it happened when he was president.
Both the first and current pastor of my church were students under Cedarholm and they don't have this kind of attitude. They treat people fairly and with grace.
