I am down on my back, need prayer...

Happened yesterday while shoveling dirt. I played homage to the dirt, but not in prayer.  Took all kinds of meds but to no avail, could barely walk. After a day of total agony, I went to the VA where they pumped me full of mefs. They told me that I would not wake up until tomorrow morning. It is now 10 o'clock p.m. And why am I still awake?  The mefs took the edge off the pain, but I would appreciate prayer from you all.
 
If you can get to a chiropractic office and they will also work with any or no insurance... praying for you...
 
Its 530 am, time for more meds. Lined up someone to preach forme today. I would either be too drugged up to preach or in too much pain!  I can hear RAIDER yelling...Don't call in, CRAWL IN!!!  thank you all for praying.
 
Sorry for you.  I have tried preaching while on meds and don't suggest it to anyone.  you may be limited in some activities, but at least you can still correct all the heretics on the forum!

They gave me 4 different meds yesterday and sent two home with me.
One of the meds is hydromorphone which does the job of lessening the pain. But it sends me into lala land.
 
Prayed for you on Sunday.  Mentioned you before our Church.  Hope you are doing better.

Thank you.  Am going to the doctor and chiropractor today.

11 or 12 years ago.... I limped for a solid year. Best thing that ever help me was....

1. Lay down flat of you belly.
2. Stay there for 5 mins or more with your arms down by your side.
3. Then prop yourself up on your elbows with your hips as tight to the floor as possible.
4. Stay there for 5 mins
5. Then move up to holding yourself up by extending your arms and hold your hips as tight to the floor as possible.
6. If you can hold it... Hold it for about 5 mins.
7. Then finish by doing # 2 again.

I still do it from time to time when I hurt my back. Works every time. Might take a day but you'll feel better. Especially if its lower back issues. These is common exercise used by physical therpy in treating lower back pain.

Yep.  Stretches are the best help, other than miracles.
