Only if it turns out that the ones who did the shooting are white, or half white/half hispanic.

What difference does that make?

In the grand scheme of things, none.
It just serves it illustrate the hypocrisy and bias of the media.....

Seriously? You have to ask?

Where are all the black congressmen taking a stand when one black youth kills another? Where is the President when a group of black youths set a white youth on fire, saying he is "getting what he deserves?" Exactly. Nowhere to be found or heard from.

The hypocrisy is downright staggering. That what difference it makes.

Yeah.  I"m asking, too.

Where are all the black congressmen taking a stand when one black youth kills another?

They're out in their districts, working with police, schools, churches and civic organizations trying to put together programs to stop this kind of violence.  But the conservative media in this country ignores it, because there's nothing special about it.  And mainstream white America doesn't care, because it doesn't serve their prejudice to focus on it, nor admit that it's happening.  Sometimes they just can't be bothered, you know?

White conservatives with their barely camouflaged racism seem to believe that blacks don't realize that internal violence in their communities is much higher black-on-black, than outside of those communities.

Where is the President when a group of black youths set a white youth on fire, saying he is "getting what he deserves?" Exactly. Nowhere to be found or heard from.

Maybe because that was kids involved? You know, instead of:
* a grown man?
* who was a neighborhood watch captain
* and someone who already had a record for assaulting a police officer?
* and who was stalking Martin from his car, phoning in his every move to the 911 operator?
* and who is using the "Stand Your Ground" law as his defense?
* oh, and in the Trayvon Martin case, someone actually *died*?

But yeah I can see your point - the two situations are totally the same thing.  ::)

The hypocrisy is downright staggering. That what difference it makes.

The stupidity is pretty staggering. Was that your intention?

For someone who portrays himself as a well read and smart individual, you sure come across as quite arrogant and condescending. Was that your intent?

The stupidity is pretty staggering.....but it still doesn't marginalize the HYPOCRISY:

We sure didn't see this in the lamestream, American media.....

There is no hypocrisy, moron.

The reason why the Trayvon Martin case rose to the top wasn't just because a black teenager was killed.

* It was due to the fact that the governmental organization charged with keeping the peace and ensuring justice, the local police department, plainly ignored the situation and let the killer go.
* It was due to the fact that the killer was a "neighborhood watch captain" with a vigilante mentality, who was point-blank told by the 911 operator not to follow Trayvon Martin.
* It was due to the fact that this situation came about as the result of Florida's ridiculous "Stand Your Ground" law.

None of those apply to the UK case. Duh.

What is it with you conservatives on this board? Do all of you read on a 4th grade level or something?

We sure didn't see this in the lamestream, American media.....

Maybe because the American media isn't as clueless as you are about the facts of the case.
And maybe because they know when situations are parallel, and when they are not.

I apologize for my ignorance....you and your superior intellect and wisdom have placed me on the straight and narrow.
When liberals say one thing and do another, it's not hypocrisy or a double standard....
Got it!

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
