High School Graduation

My youngest's GF graduated from HS tonight. We went. The event was at a nearby SBC church. They've hosted three graduations in the past three days. They're the only venue in the county that can hold that many people. and tonight there were about fifteen hundred more than the fire marshall would have allowed if he'd been there. I 've also never seen so many women that looked like they were trying to stuff 10 lbs. in a 5 lb. bag. If any of those buttons would have popped somebody could have lost an eye.

I've never been so glad to get out of a balcony in my life. I just knew that the thing was going to come down any minute. As for the women, have you ever seed a can of biscuits that somebody just whomped?

My understanding is that the crowds are similar. The've got the main campus, a large one over at the county seat and a good sized one over on the NW side of the county as well. They're also starting one out of state somewhere. The preaching is done at the main campus and piped in to the others.

As for the attendees, I will say that all of the ladies I know who attend there do know how to dress. The vast majority of the folks there Saturday night just didn't quite look like regular church attenders.

I gotta tell ya I have done funeral and some of the dress would raise the dead!  I really believe that not many people have mirrors in their homes any more.
