Anyone else listening to neighbors shooting off fireworks ahead of tomorrow's celebration?

Around here, mortar tubes are the big thing and they are LOUD.

I used to be into all of that but a few years ago, I became an old coot and lost interest in it. Now, I just put up with the neighbors doing the same stuff I used to. Oh well... If it gets on my nerves enough, I have ear plugs.

Holy cow. It sounds like a war zone right now. Just saw a deer in full panic mode racing down my neighbor's driveway. I think there were two others across the street. Then two dogs came through our property looking lost and confused. All within a couple minutes.
