The Pacific Crest Trail is in CA & he hiking from the Mexican Border to the Canadian border.
I do not know why he's doing it but it may have something to do with being an old HACker.  ::)

I am impressed, but it seems he is way behind schedule as he is only past Mt. Whitney.

Or is he on schedule?  He said in the first video he was starting in April.

Don't know but he's my age so you do what you can. But his beard is looking like Moody.
 
I visited his church one time near Oakland, CA.
