Psalm 12:6-7 KJV
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. [7] Thou shalt keep them, O Lord , thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Daniel 3:19-25 KJV
Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. [20] And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. [21] Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. [22] Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. [23] And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. [24] Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. [25] He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

We see from the above passage of Daniel 3 that the fourth person in the Fiery Furnace was Jesus Christ the Lord, the manifest WORD.

What a great scriptural proof that verifies the fact that God preserves both His saints and His words.

If they're going to blindly play word association games.... I think they should consider.....

Hos_13:2  And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

I don't understand. How is Daniel 3 related to Psalm 12?

Because Bibleburner would have it so.

That is Bibleburner's overarching hermeneutic. Shuffle up the Bible like a deck of cards and draw whatever connections you will.

Another inane attempt by a KJVO nut who proves nothing by miss-applying Scripture, only to believe his idiocy puts the death-nail in the opposition. Ground control to Major Tom!

The smelting furnace was for the purpose of purifying silver.

The furnace of Nebuchadnezzar was to destroy.

Someone completely missed the meaning of the passage because of his fascination with the number 7.

This is no dispensationalist interpretation... this is just plain allegory.
